Insulation Installer
Job Overview
As an insulation installer, you will focus on installing insulation (fiberglass or rock wool batts) to exterior walls and ceilings. Your day-to-day “office” won’t always look the same! However, you can count on the process to provide some consistency:
Responsibilities and Duties
- Loading and logging materials onto a truck.
- Erect scaffolding or ladders to height needed.
- Cut the insulation materials to size and install in frames, ceilings, attics or crawlspaces.
- Installing insulation materials by stapling, gluing, wiring, nailing or operating equipment that injects loose-fill or foamed insulation.
- May be required to drive a company vehicle. If so, follow all driving rules and DOT requirements at all times and maintain your tools/truck.
- Observe job site safety rules and know the location of the MSDS packets in your vehicle.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in the construction industry
- Valid driver’s license
For Your Safety
- Use common hand tools
- Work in tight places including attics and crawlspaces
- Lift a minimum of 50lbs
- Climb ladders and scaffolding
- Able to bend, twist, and turn body at shoulders, waist, knees
- Stand for extended periods of time

Ceiling Installer
Job Overview
As a ceiling installer, you will focus on working in the interiors of buildings installing wallboards to ceilings or to interior walls of buildings. Your day-to-day “office” won’t always look the same! However, you can count on the process to provide some consistency.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Lay out of job per plans
- Measure and mark the surface according to blueprints and drawings
- Nail moldings to the wall to support and seal the joint between the ceiling tile and the wall
- Mount tile using adhesives
- Seismic post install and perimeter clips ( Seismic post depending on deck height this can be one of the 1st things we start )
- Inspections after all fire mech. & elect are signed off
- Remove chipped or defective tiles
- Add tiles for backsplash or decorative touches

Fireplace Installer
Job Overview
As a fireplace installer, you are responsible for installing wood burning and gas fireplaces in homes according to the manufacturer’s installation instructions and company polices and guidelines.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Load and log materials onto truck and makes notation of returned materials
- Installs new gas or wood burning fireplaces in home
- Measures and installs mantles and granite base as needed around fireplaces
- Repairs and maintains existing fireplaces
- Observe job site safety rules and know the location of the MSDS packets in your vehicle
- Maintain tools and truck housekeeping
- Follow OSHA and company safety procedures
- Assist with customers and complete job order paperwork
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Maintain a valid driver’s license
- Experience in finish Carpentry, or residential construction is helpful, but not required
- National Fireplace Institute Certification will be provided after candidate has achieved enough experience
For Your Safety
- Able to work at heights up to 20 feet
- Able to consistently lift, push, kneel, crouch, reach while handling the tools necessary to install fireplaces
- Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, and use depth perception
